Almost a year ago I stumbled upon a Swedish cumbia outfit by instrumentalist Daniel Fridell. It was surprising to find such beautiful cumbia and reggae from so far up north. Cumbia truly does travel far and wide these days.
I blogged about them here on Generation Bass last November. Now on the Caballito team Daniel Fridell and his Cumbia Sound have just released a new EP “Calzones Largos.”
